Just looking at the rain belt area via satellite imagary it looks dry as a bone, but similar latitudes across Asia have had severe flooding this year as opposed to last year which was totally dry. Meteorologists' comments welcome.

I am not talking abut those silly little clouds. I need to make an actual looking weather map, with all the stats like temp. pressue etc and wind and cloud cover and cold fronts etc, can anyone tell me about these symbols and how to format them?

I'm doing correlation analysis between atmospheric pressure and wind speed during hurricanes. The problem is, I only have data for atmospheric pressure. Is there an equation where I can plug in the pressure so I can get the equivalent wind speed? Thanks for your help!
