I am a senior this year...I took chemistry as a Junior: first semester I got an A, second semester I got a B, but it was a HUGE struggle for me and I tried extremely hard...if Chemistry was difficult for me, what will physics be like? I have been on the A honor roll since forever, so will I be okay in this class? I have completed all the algebra classes, prob and stats, and trig, and I will be taking pre calculus at the same time. Any reccomendations?

Birth can't be the equal but opposite reaction to death because the population is growing. Yet birth is the opposite of death.

Can anyone make sense out of it?

I guess my intitial question would be how many people on Yahoo! Answers are aware of it, what are your thoughts, and if you think it's a "doomsday machine" you are retardly wrong.

if you have no idea what I'm talking about, I highly suggest that you "wiki" it... do a search for "LHC" or "CERN " or "Hadron Particle Collider" and you will be amazed...

They seem attracted to cereals, grains, and starches and lay cacoons in my food, hatch, and fly around all over my apartment. I thought I got rid of them a month ago when i threw almost everything away in my pantry, but they just seem to keep coming back anyway.. I have had to throw away so much food because I am afraid I'll eat their larva.. Anyone experienced this before? They are small in appearance, and have been around in both winter and summer. How do I get rid of them?

It's simply a big waste of money and natural resources.
That's right. Think about all of the plastic that has to be produced to make that stuff. Not to mention all of the trucks burning fossil fuels to transport it.

Hey, I'm an inventor and I protect my own good ideas, but here is one you can HAVE:
If you get rich from it then just remember to mention me when you go to the top. I have a great idea to help eliminate paper waste too.
So make this and get rich:
A portable tap water filter
So they already exist?
Obviously not handy enough, or they would be as famous as bottled water.
This could be a screw-on filter that could be kept on your key-chain in an air-tight container w/ filter inserts.
The bottled water industry is a multi-billion dollar a year business.
The air pollutants that come from making and moving that supposedly "better" water is more detrimental to our health than drinking tap water could ever be.
I have several great ideas. This one we need now!

I notice on Yahoo Answers some people answer genuine scientific questions with answers such as 'Because God made it so...' etc. This seems to indicate an unwillingness for religious people to accept science as being a worthy pursuit.
But cannot religion and science co-exist peacefully? One of the greatest scientists in history, Isaac Newton, was a devout Christian. He considered his scientific investigations as a form of praise - an effort to get to know God's creation in more detail. To him, the phrase 'because God says so' would be blasphemous.

I guess the question is - what's your opinion?

The T-Rex has always been popular, especially with the Jurassic Park movies (and the T-Rex was NOT from that period. The Allosaurus was *LOL* ).

However, the Allosaurus is now represented by Big Al, who had a "Walking With Dinosaurs" special made just for him.

So who's the best between the two dinosaurs?
