On my watch the outside bezel rotates and i have heard that it is used as a tachymeter. I dont know if this is true and if it is how do i use it? I looked it up online and i did not understand how my watch could be used to do these calculations... any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks..
p.s. hers a picture of teh watch so you can see what the bezel looks like to see if it is possible with the watch... thanks again!

All the time there are motives, even if they go unnoticed, in science. Whether it be pride, money, or stubbornness there is always something to distract scientists from giving a 100% unbiased analysis.
-What can we do to keep this from happening?
-Will science ALWAYS be affected in someway by human error like this?
-What do YOU think will happen if we continue to be motivated by the idea of conforming?
(Scientists conform alot because, like religion, disbelief in anything that is 'universally accepted' as fact is comparable to heresy)

I have a go-kart with 8" rims. It weighs 300 lbs without the motor. If I wanted to turn this into an EV, how powerful of an electric motor would I need? Would 7 hp be enough? I want it to be really powerful. How many car batteries would I need to power the motor for 3 hours considering I will be driving it pretty fast most of the time.

You have a 10 pound weight and a 150 pound person.
If you drop the 10 pound weight on your hand from 4 feet it will hurt maybe even break your hand
If som1 jumped on your hand nothing will happend just hurt. Why is the 10 pound weight feel heavier when it falls?

if you make wine, keep it far away from a bakery/ beer brewery. I heard a woman claim she can't help driving drunk because she had a yeast infection push her alcohol level over legal limits (the judge wouldn't let her off.)

I gather there're different types.
Please-- no wikis or websites ! I can look those up myself !
I'm trying to save time.

Suppose you HAD TO make bread with wine yeast or vice versa. No other yeast available.

No, don't give me places to order it! You're on another planet; all you have to work with is the one yeast, you don't know which. One yeast to rule them all & there is no other!!

I'm not saying would bread be like from the bakery. Would it be edible? That's all. Could you live on it?

I'm not saying would the beer/wine be as good as at the local pub. Could you distill alcohol from it to use as fuel? That's all.

Do women have to be careful around the bread/ beer/ wine yeast? How risky/dangerous is it?

Thanks! want more details? Just ask!

Do I do maths all day? Do I become well known like Michio Kaku? Famous like Einstein? Do I become a boring old man?

I want to become a theoretical physicist but I still haven't managed to find out what they actually do in their daily lives as theoretical physicists.

Last night, my husband found this huge bug in our basement. The bug was half dead in my husbands work area where he has been cutting wood. I took a few pictures and found out it is called a Brown Prionid. I tried to find some more info. on this bug but all I know is that it feeds on dead wood....hence laying in the wood scraps. If anyone has any more insight on this nasty bug...let me know. Will it lay eggs, has it already?

I know you're not suppose to have metal in there. I once saw a mini lightnening storm when I accidently left a fork on the plate. Another time I warmed up a Wendy's burger on it's aluminum foil wrapper and again, lightening.
But today, I warmed up some Chinese rice in the carton that it always comes in. The little handle on it is metal but there was no lightening storm inside the microwave at all. I nuked the carton for two more minutes and nothing....the rice was warmed up effectively, though. Is this still unsafe? Why didn't the microwave reject(affect) the metal handle?
