The quoted speed of 1000 mph is only true if you're flying along the equator. If you're flying west at higher latitudes, the required speed is considerably less. For example, at 45 degrees latitude (about where the northern U.S. is) the required speed is only about 700 mph.

You would need to build a jet capable of traveling 1000 mph for 24 hours. I suppose you could arrange in-flight refuelling. I do not believe anyone has actually attempted this, although several stories back in the 1950's and '60's were based on this premise.
The SR71 was quite a lot faster than that, so it would not have been used for such a frivolous mission.

It is possible, with in-flight refuelling, but I couldn't find any evidence that it has been attempted, surprisingly. At the link below there is information about lots of around-the-world flights, including an Air France Concorde in 1992 that flew around the world in under 24 hours of flight time, but spread over 2 days. At first I thought that this was it, but I soon realized that they weren't counting the time on the ground.
Of course, the space shuttle 'flies' around the world in about 90 minutes!

You would need a jet that can travel at 1,000 mph for a 24 hour period. Since no jet can carry that much fuel, you would need to refuel and your refueling tankers, if airborne, would also need to travel at 1,000 mph.

It is possible. You would have to be re-fueled in flight several times.
