Can everyone explain why a magnet has such a property or characteristic? Can we use that property to generate unlimited energy since the magnetism is always there? Why?

Electrons come in pairs. Some spin clockwise and some counter clockwise. They pair up and generally cancel the electronic-magnetic effect of the different spins(moving charges create a magnetic field) In iron, there are 3 unpaired electrons. If we align all these pairs we get a magnet. A blind student explained it to the class like cars parking in a parking lot all facing the same direction with their headlights on. The total light being the magnetism. The cars parked all every which way back and forward, left and right sideways with head lights shining in all directions represents the magnetized iron.

The magnetism come from the spin of electrons in the atoms of the magnetic material. Some materials will have areas in which all the spins are in the same direction producing a net magnetic field; such an area is called a magnetic domain. If the domains' magnetic orientation is random, there is no net external field from the material. However, by placing the material in a strong external magnetic field and heating it, keeping the field on while it cools, will align the domains. (You can also align the domains by striking the material, or applying a really strong external field.) The domains then are frozen in magnetic alignment and the material becomes a magnet. (Natural magnets occur when such material cools in the earth's magnetic field.)

So the magnetism comes from electron spins.

You can use the magnetism to generate electricity, but not create energy.

If you take a piece of iron the molecules are not lined up. If you magnetize it, which can be done by various means, then the molecules are lined up. They are now dipoles. Magnetism is easily destroyed. Magnets have been used at least 100 years to generate electricity such as the wind-up torch. But it costs more to generate than it's worth. It is not a perpetual machine. lol

The earth is centre of force of graivity.
You might have heard of North Pole and South pole of a magnet. If u bury a pice of iron for years (maybe thousands) it will turn into a magnet. The side facing the North Pole Of the Earth Will become South pole of a magnet while the side facing the south pole of the Earth will become North Pole Of the magnet

I hope i explain myself clearly....?
