If somebody is color blind are all colors "distorted" or just a few? Are there different degrees of color blindness? I've heard of people that only see shades of grey, no bright colors. But I've heard of others that seem to only have problems with only specific colors. Anybody know about this?

I understand they all work very hard and ave many many people and I never wish anyone to have to go to a surgeon.

Is Emergency trama a specialty because I thought they just took specialists and had them work in the ER..

But I want to become a cardiothoracic or Neurosurgeon, and was wondering if either of these had high losses?

If not what does, and if you know which has the lowest, are there some specialties where you can go your whole job with nobody dieing?Like dermatiology?

Can you tell from drug tests what medicine does a person take? My hubby was tested this morning, he gave them his urine sample. He's taking Norvasc, we're just curious if it'll show on the result. Thanks

I am going for an MRI scan and i have gold teeth will it be a problem? because high-powered magnetic fields are involved, patients cannot have this scan if they have any metal in their body (such as heart pace-makers) and some people like me have gold teeth, does this count as metal or is gold a different type of metal. i am worried and feel too stupid to ask the doctors before i go for the scan. does anyone have any advice?

if the patient needed an IV, would it be better to place the IV in the right arm (on the unaffected side), or would it matter which arm it is placed in?

Would not unilateral neglect of the left arm or loss of function or sensation in that arm be a consideration in deciding which arm to place the IV?
