It all depends on the type of color blindness that person has. Some people can only see in black, white and greys, while other people only have problems with a specific color or colors.
There are cones in your eyes for red, blue, and green, which are sensitive to those colors and combinations of them.If one doesn't work right, your brain gets the wrong message about exactly what colors you are seeing. This is why something green can look brown or gray to someone that is color blind. It really just depends on that specific person. There are many different ways to be color blinded.

That's a question with many answers. When i attended drivers ed cladd a student next to me was color blind and i asked how, and he said that at a traffic light red lights are purple to him. Or another kid at my school has peripheral vision in which he can only see blue out the corner of his eye. Color blindness is different on everyone, some have it mild while others have it so bad to where colors are floating everywhere.

God I have not have been given any concept...and that i'm a nurse! I could be responsive to! How approximately this...you're no longer the guy who's coloration blind...you are the single with the perfect suited imaginitive and prescient and we are those that are coloration blind :D *Edit* heavily nonetheless...i don't experience like it would be referred to as colorblindness...it somewhat is in basic terms the way some people see. the sole reason society considers it a disability is with the help of the fact we use particular colorings in equipment perfect suited? in spite of the undeniable fact that, it relatively is basically the style you're meant to be sure. there is no longer something incorrect with it imo...i'm basically thinking out loud :)

I'm color blind... and yes there are different degrees or levels... Normally a color blind person is unable to see a certain basic color (normally red or green), at least in a normal way. There are a few cases of people who can not see colors at all... but this is pretty rare.
I have a green mild deficiency... I can only see certain green tones, but other tones look either gray... or yellow... or red... or white... depending on the tone of green.
To me a stoplight is red and white... not red and green...
Other people have trouble with red, and another few have trouble with blue.

There are several levels or degrees of color blindness. Some just can't distinguish variations or shades of a particular color/colors and some see everything in shades of grey.

For me, hunter green, navy blue and burgundy cars look alike in artificial light. When they are in the sun I can tell the difference. (Most of the time.) But in artificial light, black, blue and green look the same. I don't know if I would call it grey, but they all look "off black".
The color also does not look the same. It changes every time I look at the object. Sometime I think it's green, black, or navy. I had a job as a service advisor in the past. I had a hard time telling the colors of cars. I would ask my fellow employees, but sometimes they would mess with me. That's not cool.
