i go for the alternative medicine, so my doc is a naturalpathic one, He says that using a very bright light and powerful microscope, he can detect sicknesses by observing the eyes. Can they also tell if someone has had an abortion?

No they cannot. That's complete bunk. Certain conditions like chronic hypertension and poorly controlled diabetes can be diagnosed by looking at the retinal vessels. A few other conditions can be diagnosed by examining the retina, even leukemia, sometimes.

The practice of iridology or reading the iris of the eye is used in eastern medicine to help diagnose illness. The doctor may be able to tell that there was something in the uterine area, but unless you tell him you had an abortion or they do a physical exam of the uterus they will not specifically tell you had an abortion. Having said that, its a good idea to mention this to any doctor you see as health concerns can crop up from it
To the "real" doctor. Naturopaths are real doctors, with the same training in anatomy, physiology and diagnosis that western doctors have, they just prefer to use natural means to treat illness BEFORE resorting to chemicals and surgery.
