My husband underwent an abdominoplasty mid June 2006. He was okay, and then the first two weeks, a lot of liquid was oozing out of his stitches, which we were told is quite normal. Then on the right side of his stomach the wound opened up and it was really gross to look at it. Then again we were told that there is a large collection of liquid (i think its protein, or some kind of thing that comes through when the fats all gone in between the skin and muscles) so he has to be taken in for another session of emptying thecollection. Again, in mid July he was taken in and we were told that the collection has been removed, and he is okay. Now though he was healing, again on the right side, the skin was opening up, and this time it was some infection, which we were treating him with antibiotics. and the opening was becoming yellow in color, and again, he was taken in a third time in August last week saying all the dead skin will be cut, and he would heal faster..September mid, we complete 3

A friend found some brick sized bars of pure lead. We figured out that they were taken out of a building's walls and that the bldg had once housed an xray service. Presuming that the info above is accurate. How should we dispose of them? Are they dangerous?

It seems odd that people are not interested in solving any of the approximately seven long-term health decay problems detailed at http://www.sens.org/just7.htm

It seems to me like we should be spending at least at least 5 billion worldwide annually to investigate how these problems can be solved.

People don't have a problem accepting that we can cure cancer over the next couple centuries. Yet, the most age-related problems are just as solvable and some are less complicated.

I have a few questions to ask, i need this for my research paper. 1) why did you decide to become a nurse practitioner apart from the money?
2) how were you able to accomplish this goal?
3) what will you do or have you done to give back to the society?

I'm trying to verify and get a better understanding about these diet supplements. Wikipedia which says:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nose_bleed#Causes

"Some people who have frequent nosebleed problems, the cause could be the effect of vitamin overdose especially vitamin C .......
Cultures with a diet rich in fish sources that include high levels of omega-3 fatty acids (especially the Inuit) have also been observed to experience a higher incidence of nosebleeds. Athletes and bodybuilders who supplement their diets with fish oil also report increased frequency of nosebleeds."
