Peta is into protecting animal rights and in my view, value animals more than human beings. I suggest we do medical research on their members rather than animals because, we wouldnt want to hurt the animals now, would we?

How comes with saline, less fluid leaves the intravascular space into the interstital fluid, than when using dextrose?

I know it has something to do with the Na+ ions but i'm not quite sure.

Thanks :o)

I was given Verapamil 90 mg to treat supraventricular tachycardia even though my blood pressure is usually very low -- usually around 90/60, although when I was in the clinic, it ranged from 100/80 down to 95/60. Now I am suffering from chills, shakiness and fatigue. My current heart rate is 70 and I do have a doctor's appointment in 13 hours..

I work in heavy industry and got burned with hot condensate 200-250 degF, on small areas on my hands and a 3in x 5in area on my side. I think theyre only second degree burns, and ive been opening up the blisters and applying neosporin to the areas a couple times a day. Is there anything else I need to be doing, or watch out for. My hands seem so be healing just fine, but my side is still pretty red and raw looking. I think it might just be because I havent worn any bandaids or anything on my hands, but Ive had gauze over my side the whole time (maybe it just needs to breath a little more). Any suggestions would help.
