What is the weight in lb.(f) of a 100lb.(m) mass a) when g=32.174 ft/s^2 and b) when g = 31.925ft/s^2

This is how I was told to work it out:

a)
1 lb.(f)= [1lb.(f)s^2/32.174ft.lb.(m)]*[100lb.(m)/1]*[32.174ft/s^2]

=100lb.(f)

I'm confused about the first part of that equation:
(1lb.(f)*s^2)/(32.174ft.lb.(m))
is this just something I should know? How is it derived?

yeah im builing a loft for my dorm. everyoe else just has a big beefy steel beam that goes cross the whole room that the loft floor sits on. but i want something that would look cool any ideas? i was thinking something like a suspension bridge minght be cool, but a cool truss would be awesome too.

I had invented this machine and it works! Iam looking for funding and or grants to get this patent and trademarked thru out US and other countries. This is to go on every factory roof top or maybe inside factories, and on every high rise, and one big enough for the space shuttle. This can save lives of animals,human lives, maybe your child other family member that is breathing bad fumes/carbon dioxide, save them from cancer,liver disease,or other life threatening heath issue. How concered are you? Can you help me make this happened? Can this be the answer to global warming? I believe it is. My invention works with 2 filtration fiters in it. It is an all green product. This production can fill many job positions all over the US. Many Steel Mill throughout the US are being fined Indiana, Minnesota need help the polution in the air is a serious heath matter. I think this is a step in the right direction.

I did a experiment. Notice that when the thyristor is fired on, the gate voltage (0.56) immediately increased to a higher value (0.82) (gate on voltage). Y the voltage increased??
