We just need to give it a first push and it will just run forwever and ever. Could we just put a generator and a motor together and make them both run at the same time?
Any links?

Has there ever been a design that only used magnets as a power source to power a car?
I developed this design(only on paper so far) to power a car using nothing but magnets as a power source. Has this been done yet? If so was it successful, if not, why? The only major problem I can think of so far with this design is metal objects flying across the road being attracted to the car.

We have a natural spring at the bottom of a hill but want to pump the water to the top of the hill for livestock so we don't damage the natural spring and have easier access to the water.

We currently have a 3000 gallon tank the natural water spring runs into and a pipe coming out of the tank to our pond. How can we incorporate this into our wind-mill/ water pump?

I tried to give my friend a letter about a tragic event that will take place in the future but he just tore it up and started yelling about the space-time-continuem, or something.

I'm sitting in my 1985 DeLorean right now about to help my friend perform a "weather experiment" I might be able to go back early and warn him, do you think 10 minutes ought to be enough time?

Can you envisage a future world where humans no longer had to work (they could do some part-time work if they enjoyed it or wanted extra money, but did not have to to get by)? Can you see the positives of a world where computers, robots & machines (which are eventually moslty owned by the state) make and sell products and services earning enough money to pay everyone's basic bills (groceries, tax, rent, water & electricity)? What if ...

I am trying to model a wireless communication network with a receiver (Rx) and a transmitter (Tx). If Tx and Rx have known maximum data rates in bps, how do I calculate how the maximum data rates degrade as distance between the two is increased? Or is this an incorrect assumption on my part, and the max rates instead remain constant?

I am in the manufacturing business and there are going to be two job openings in the near future: One for an estimator and one for a project manager. They are both on the engineering aspect of our "jobs". I was thinking about applying for them to gain experience with engineering. I have my bachelors in computer information systems and enjoyed math but have no other engineering experience. The HR manager said they would train me but I'm wondering if I would enjoy this side of manufacturing. What are the tasks these two positions would have? Has any one else switched from an assistant to something engineering?
