I have been stuck in the omarian nebula orbiting draxis prime for almost 5 hours now. I thought my phase transfuser array was the problem but now I can see it's my warp coil that's burnt out. I can't get this thing to start up. What should I do?

I tried sending a message to startfleet as soon as I realized my drive was busted. Unfortunately, a dampening field generated by the planets unusually strong magnetic field is preventing me from getting a signal out.

panda: Lets just say, anyone living on draxis prime would have more words for rain than a ferengi.

Magix: If I had enough credits for a navigator or even to replace my warp coil every 30,000 LY (as recommended) I wouldn't have enough to get to the moon, much less the erythotic belt to follow up on this prospecting tip for latnum mines.

You need to hire a navigator. You wouldn't need a warp coil if you just coughed up the money for one. Instead, you chose an outdated warp coil. Try smacking with a hammer or impact wrench. If it won't start up, call for a tow.

Reverse the polarity on the inductors and pump power directly into the warp nacelles (very dangerous). A small warp coil can be found near the fusion exhaust, this warp coil produces a non-propulsive warp field which helps the impulse engines to function. This warp coil can be jerry rigged to the warp nacelles. Remeber that two things will happen if you do this, 1. The warp coil can not accelerate above warp 4 or they may burn out (or worse blow up) and 2. You will loose impulse power until the unit is reattached to the fusion exhaust port (if you can even do this).

Since you're in the Omarian nebula, go over to Chocobo's on planet Fruyleeen. Ask for truwiply, she'll show you a good time and for an extra $50 she's pretty good with warp coils...... and by the way why exactly are you in the omarian nebula? everyone knows the only reason to go there is to buy crack.

Well im assume that the warp coil is simialr to the starter coil on a car. when its broken take a screw drive and touch the 2 prongs with it to form the connection, this should start your warp drive and get you back into space.

Check the gonkulator ion the warp core. The last three times mine went out, I've found that it got shorted to the framostat. Pull the gonkulator, clean it and re-seal it, and it should work fine.

Lucky you. I've been circling Uranis for a couple of eons looking for a chronosynclasticinfundibulum to drop into.
