It must like go in to a big pipe under your house/steet... but how does it get moved from there with everyone elses waste to the sewage plant.

And theres also no sewage plant near me that I know of.

And you can't smell waste when your walking on the street. Does it magically disappear?

Hi,
anyone who might know the Denver gardner PA8 piston pump? if so where can i source it's operational specs from? am struggling doing so on the search engines.

I'm using it to pump a slurry but want to know what the maximum pressure is that it can handle before being damaged. And does the spefici gravity (aka density) of the slurry i'm pumping make a differnece in the pumps pressure handling abilities?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Let's assume the rocket carries four passengers and their belongings for a two-year tour.... and the rocket weighs roughly 18.631 tons. that includes fuel load. my tests thus far have proved disastrous. it's possible only three passengers will be well enough to make the trip.

Question 1. Say you live in a country where the voltage is 200-210V, purposely lower in order to meet the demands of a country. Is there any harm or effect on the appliance which is rated 220-240V in the long run or the short run.

Question 2. Say if you have an appliance that has been rated 220V and the supply voltage coming into that appliance is 240V. Is there any effect/harm done to the appliance in the long run or short run.

Links to websites in order to understand these phomena about electricity would be of great help. thanks

In a simple amplifier circuit. I'm aware of the functional differences, but I'd be okay so long as the the potential never exceeded the former zener diode's breakdown voltage, right?

I need your help. Briefly explain to me the roles of a jockey pump and a diesel engine fire pump in a high rise building. This would be for a five story 100,000 sq ft structure with it's sprinkler water supply coming from the city's main line. Which of these 2 pumps would need to have backup battery or generator power in case of an outage. And if the city water line was broken(hurricane Katrina) how could this cause the diesel pump to run itself dry until it overheated(the oil in the engine was like tar). Just need to know the basics for an interview. Thank you Thank you.

If you were MacGuyver what would be the simplest method using everyday items (if even possible)? I read one guy's article about a homemade battery charger he made using wall power, a lightbulb as a resistor, and some other house junk. It was pretty innovative.
