If a lead acid battery is rated 50Ah, this means that it can provide continuously to a 10A load during 5hrs or full 50A to a load during one hour. But, does that also means that it can provide 100A to a load during 30 minutes?Or 3000A during 1 minute???

I had never heard of them until I did some research recently and feel that they have a pretty solid design. They would likely be more efficient than the typical two stroke while having more HP than a four stroke with similar displacement. Why has this design not been used in conventional applications such as lawnmowers or auto engines?

A transformer is designed to step down the applied voltage of 120 V (rms) to 24 V (rms) at 60Hz. Calculate the maximum rms voltage that can be applied to the high-side of this transformer without exceeding the rated flux density in the core if this transformer is used in a power system with a frequency of 50Hz.

Is it true that you can stick a lightbulb in a bowl of water in the microwave and turn on the microwave and the lightbulb will light up for like 30 seconds? Someone told my husband this and now he wants to try it but I don't want him to blow up my microwave or house for that matter.

I have 4 electrical wires that i need to "switch" together via a relay, example: wires 1234 5678 9QWE, wires 1234 normally connect to 5678 but i need to switch them so 1234 breaks from 5678 and goes to 9QWE, obviously i could do it with 4 two-way switches but i only want one that switches them all together. hope someone can make some sense of this. Thanks

Please explain why DC is supposed to have lower losses than AC for power transmission over very long distances?
(What is the threshold distance? as a function of voltage? and what are the losses? Which countries do this?)

(I'm an MSEE, so you can assume knowledge of two-ports and transmission lines if you want, or some links.
But please include a paraphrase explanation with typical numbers, which everyone can understand)
