How can i switch over 4 wires without 4 two-way relays?

I have 4 electrical wires that i need to "switch" together via a relay, example: wires 1234 5678 9QWE, wires 1234 normally connect to 5678 but i need to switch them so 1234 breaks from 5678 and goes to 9QWE, obviously i could do it with 4 two-way switches but i only want one that switches them all together. hope someone can make some sense of this. Thanks

It comes down to the number of "Poles" and the number of "throws" you are looking for. Poles are the number of lines you are switching, and Throws are the possible positions these poles can be switched into.

Each line (throw) in your scenario can go to one of two places, so you have a Double Throw.

So in this case, you need a 4PDT switch.

You can search in any electronics distributor's site and find these.

What you're talking about is a 4 pole double throw switch. They're not hard to find. Search on the term "4PDT".

there is two temp sensors in that automobile. if the single that controls your radiator fan is undesirable it wont turn on the fan that cools the automobile. once you turn on the AC it automaticly yurns on the radiator fan
