This answer is for room temperature....it varies with temperature (see source 1)
______________________________
1 US gallon = 3.7854118 liter

Density of diesel= 900 kg/m³ (see source 2)

1 liter = 0.001 cubic meters (volume)

and
Weight= volume×density

weight of 1 gallon of diesel is

= 3.78*900*.001
= 3.402 kg or 7.49 pounds approximately

RE:
How much does a gallon of Diesel Fuel weigh?

It depends on the temperature of the fuel. The airline industry uses a temp of 15 C which is almost 60 degrees F, for the weight of fuel, which is loaded onto planes based only on weight, not gallons. Obviously, when fuel is colder than that, it is more dense, meaning more weight for the volume of fuel. The trucking industry in North America uses 7.1 pounds per U.S. gallon which is 3.7854 liters. Also, if the fuel was just pumped up from an underground storage tank, it will be about 55 degrees F, ( 12.8 C ), as that is the temperature of the ground 15 to 20 feet down, even in the winter in the northern USA. Also, if a truck made a delivery drop to an underground tank within the past few hours, in the winter, the colder fuel in the fuel delivery truck will drop the temps of the underground fuel, already in the tanks. Do you want fries with that????

From about 7.0 to 7.1 lbs. It's kind of hard to pin down exactly because as with all hydrocarbon fuels, the density varies pretty considerably with fuelstock quality and source. But a fairly reasonable benchmark for specific gravity of diesel is about 0.85. Work that into 8.34 lbs per gallon of water and you get about 7.09 lbs per gallon of diesel.
