We have this project to do in school, and i have absolutley NO experience in this. We have to raise a 1 kg weight off the ground three and 1/2 feet with a 1/2 kg weight and have it move over and land on our desk. The catch: we cannot use springs, magnets, batteries, etc., and they only time we can touch the machine is when we place the 1/2 kg weight on our "simple machine" I thought a pulley system might work, but i have no idea how to make one. PLEASE HELP ME OUT

It is a cold well refrigerator for a restaurant and it "shocks" you when you touch the metal part and also touch another metal part of another refrgerator. How do I troubleshoot this?

hi guys out there,need help

from http://lyoinfo.in2p3.fr/cms/cmsecal/TTL_NIM%20user%20manual_v10.pdf

page 6, we could see how to convert an TTL signal to NIM signal,anyhow, there is a -6V to be connected to the bottom of the circuit. How to generate -6V?function generator?or Ac source? Beside that, i think the entree is input in English (french document...), input for TTL is what?another 5V from function generator or Ac source? Output should be Oscilloscop rite?

I;m currently doing an project regarding how to convert TTL signal to NIm signal, and using MULTISIM to do the simulation before doing in practical. Thanks for helping hand!!!

Hi Everybody,
About dc current
I have two dc adapter one is 500mah and 5v (500mahx5voltage=2500watt)
and second one is 2500mah and 1v (2500mahx1voltage=2500watt)

The both of adapter watt is same but mah and voltage is different
Can i get same rotation per minute(Rpm Dc motor) in different mah and different voltage but watt should be same or i am wrong?
And how i can get same (RPM) in different mah and different voltage?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Convert Table
Convert AMPS to Watts:
Watts = Voltage x Amps

I purchased a 5600 Watt Craftsman gas generator for my home for the occasional power outage. I have been told by an appliance repairman that appliances suffer and breakdown when there is prolonged used of generators. Is it possible to make certain my generator is delivering 120 Volt to my appliance? I thought the more expensive genarators had built-in invertors that produced constant power but I am now told that this is only for conversion from DC to AC.
