presently there is much time and energy spent by students in getting to the essential fundamentals - which really get 'used'. also very often, one gets caught in the details - and the essence gets left out - like in my case!

what if - we had the essentials of all engineering and technology, and we studied just that. thereafter only applications and practice.

it's possible that this work has been done already by someone, and is available for others to use. Do you know if such work is available, and forward me links to it?
