If I know my single phase wattage total (adding up the wattage of all my loads (2500 watt lamps) for a power total) what do I do to get a 3-phase wattage total.

Do I divide that by 3 or do I divide that by 1.73 (square root of 3)?

I can find 3-phase to single phase power calculations (on the net) but not the other way (single phase totals to 3-phase total).

Thanks
KJ

I need to determine the power of given settings of a sonication machine. I came up with the idea of sonicating a volume of water and measuring the temperature difference after a set amount of sonication time, at a given setting. How do I correlate the change in temperature to the change in energy, (which can then be correlated to electrical power, or current or whatever.) I remember something vaguely involving entropy being the derivative of energy with respect to Absolute Temperature.+

The replacment engines would of course be designed to be as fuel efficient and least poluting as possible while still maintaining the replaced engines power rating and bolting into the engine compartment of the truck, train, ship or plane being converted with the least amount of customization possible.

I have some double paine windows that are low e and some are low e and filled with argon for better insulation. They look and feel, temperature wise, the same. How can you tell the difference?

Years ago I had a shop teacher who built a lamp using a potted plant. To turn it on/off you touched the leaves of the plant. I wanted to do this as a science project for my son. Anyone know what is involved or have instructions on how to build one of these. I've seen them for sale but you can't enter those in a science fair.
