Answer for this "What is (i) power n ?" - if i is even then 1 otherwise i.

Second part isn't clear.

i^1=1
i^2=-1
i^3=-i
i^4=1 and the cycle restarts .So if you have i^n take the remainder of the division by four of n
Example i^543 The remainder is 3 so i^543=i^3 =-i
