I have a motor from this website.
http://sargentwelch.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_WL2454D_ST_A_DC+Motor+Kit_E_

We can I add to or change from the motor to make it more efficient and less electrically resistant? Such as changing the gauge of the wires in the armature...etc.

replace the loading on the beams with and equivalent resultant force and specify thier location along each beam measured from the left hand end A. At point A the force is 6kN/m - 6 metres from that point the force is 3kN/m and 4.5 metres from there at point B the force is 5kN/m .

Can people suggest some household materails that are good instulators of heat. Nothing like loft insulation, things like cotton wool. Only because I have a project to make a small house and insulate it and wondered what peoples opinions of good insulators are.

Cheers

Specifically, aparently the Sinclair Broadcast group blacked out 22 of its 57 stations recently to prevent such shows as the Super Bowl from being transmitted on cablesystems including Mediacom Communications. My understanding is that the cable operators are simply pulling the signals out from broadcast signals and relaying on their cables. So I don't know how Sinclair turned off its service without completely shutting down the broadcast to customers who receive the broadcast using antenna.

"Single-phase" 240VAC in North America is comprised of TWO phases of 120VAC which are 180 degrees out of phase with each other. In a 4-wire hookup, there are two phases of 120VAC, a neutral, and a ground. When you measure between the two phases of 120VAC, you get 240VAC.

In countries where the regular line voltage is 240VAC (such as Europe), there is a 3-wire connection with 240VAC, Neutral, and Ground. 240VAC to Neutral is really 240VAC.

Needless to say, the North American version is ambiguous and confusing. It would be more accurate to call it dual-phase 120VAC, or something like that. Again I ask, Why?

In Mythbuster TV show, they are using bolt action rifle to do the experiment and the front end of barrel is totally destroyed. How about M4, the automatic rifle?
