That fully charged 3V battery is probably 2x1.5V cells in series, each with a 300 to 500 mAH rating. So I'm gonna take a stab and guess that the 3V battery will last 3 to 5 hours.

A watt is equal to the voltage applied to the load multiplied by the current of ampere flow.
So...
If this sentence including terms like watt-hour or amps then a solution may be more readily available.
As it is.... the amps required are 2/3 A, or 0.67 A.

That would depend on the capacity of the battery. They have a rating in mAh (milliamp hours).
