If you are questioning this, you should make sure it's clarified in the contract, or at least not excluded.

I have the feeling you might be in the middle of the build, and they what to charge you? If so, then it's included!!!!

If they didn't exlude it, take the square foot of the house x $125 and you're done.

To increase costs after beginning a contract is a violation of the contractor code. Contact the State Contractors Board (by whatever name) immediately.

Be tough, be assertive, get what you expected.

Well it has to include the foundation. The septic system you had best check on. If you live in a city and you are getting a city hookup, I say that is included. But septic systems outside of town come under the jurisdiction of the county health department. They have to approve the septic tank, drain field or pond. So you better ask the people building the house just to be sure.

If you are doing a budgeting estimate, the cost per SF includes the foundation but does not include plumbing or wiring beyond the house. You will need to run the numbers for the additional site work.

We don't know for sure, but it probably at least includes the foundation. It all depends on what you asked the contractor to provide. Check with the contractor for these specifics if you are in doubt.
