have they been working on nuclear fusion energy project?
If so what is the staus of that project?
It is my understanding that a consortium in France will be building the world's first large scale fusion reactor.

Once I was in a bathroom and to my surprise I saw electrical current traveled from the wall plug to the castiron bath.
Never mind about the safety in it, my interest is concerned more on the possibility of a new invention: Sort like radio frequency.
Or should I go to the bathroom more often!

for hi P. steam exhaust of turbine(belonged to a big cooling water centrifugal pump) it is supposed a surface condenser, but why dose it limit us for keeping the subcooling max 3 degree centigrade? is it because of dissolved O2 in the condensate?

Machinery's Handbook is too contradictory and I can't make sense of their charts on this. I need to cut some internal Acme threads on a set of jackscrews I am making as a school assignment. The thread is 1/2"-10 Acme. I need to find out the right tap drill size so I have some material left in there for the threads to be made out of.

It has to made out of wood and it must have springs. No PVC materials or slingshots are allowed. It must be activated by a triggering device, which I don't know how to make. I cannot hold or touch the catapult when I launch the projectile; only the triggering device. Help please!

what resources (books internet degrees) that would inform me on making a man made lake or use an existing lake to build islands in the middle or at least a parcel of land in the middle of the lake that has a strip of land going back to dry land. Hi people, i am in the process of designing a timber beam to eurocode 5, for university. One of the formulas used to calculate a critical factor, requires the value of torsional moment of inertia, and i have looked everywhere and cant find it. The shape of the beam is rectangular and as i say, the formula i need requires this particular value, i dont know if it is called something else but can anyone help???

For example, if both types of heaters are set to 1.1kW (input) how can you measure the heat output each type is producing? I know it'll depend on the filaments and such but is there anything that will list that? I need a ballpark figure at least.
