if you meant what technology should you be using, then i recommend using FM or Bluetooth; each have some pros and cons!

FM is cheaper to implemet, but harder to implemet, bluetooth (lets say 2 serial bluetooth adapters) are more expensive but much much easier to implement... specially with digital signals!

There isn't much of a difference when you send a signal or message wirelessly whether you're right next to someone or far away from them. The signal still must be sent to a tower to route your signal to the recipient. Either way the message is sent the same way and it will travel at extremely high speeds and reach the person in about the same time as if he were in the next state. The phones are indirectly connected by a tower. If you're talking about computers then the signal is sent over the network and the computers are not connected. Only indirectly over the network.

find a ham radio operator in your area..
not a cb'er
they will show you all u need to know..
look fer a large antenna, a lot of antennas in a area, or ask some of your friends, or your parents.........
