I'm looking for a single pole electric switch kind of like a foot operated sewing machine switch. The catch is that it has to have nomally closed contacts which open when the foot switch is depressed. I'm wanting to incorporate it into a kill switch for my bass boat.

What would one of those cost me? Where would I get it?

It's for passive solar water heating. The idea is to put it upstream of the combi boiler, and heat it either directly or with a coil from the solar water heater. The combi boiler runs at mains pressure of course.

How do I arrange things to that the hot water gets to expand when it gets hot?

Is there anything else wrong with this that will make something explode or otherwise embarrass me?
