Let's face it, humans have screwed up the planet good and proper. Surely it's time to call it a day. Should people just stop reproducing, and let the species die out? Leave it to the animals to sort out.

On the Religion and Spirituality section, we are constantly getting spammed by creationists with their nonsensical objections to evolutionary theory. We usually tell them to ask their questions in the Biology section and leave us alone. Biology regulars: do they ever show up?

Please, I really am interested in the answer of this question.

I do not want a whole load of people talking to me about God and the bible because I really am not interested.

My question is:

"Scientists: do they still view evolution as a theory, or has there now been enough evidence for them to view it as a fact?"

I am not bothered about individual opinions on the matter, or beliefs or a religious debate. I just want to know what scientists have discovered.

Thank you

I don't understand how that can be, because I know for Chinese people the dominant eye colour is dark brown, is it something with her genes? Is there a possibilty she is mixed?

She told me that out of her 6 siblings, she was the only one that got blue eyes and she told me her father had blue eyes too.

Plus, everyone made fun of her when she was younger because she looked like a mix of Chinese and Caucasian, people still thinks she's Caucasian nowadays.

I've asked her if she's mixed, but she doesn't know, I think it would help if I asked her dad (my great grandfather), but he's passed away for a long time now.

I'm mixed (half French, half Chinese) and I have light brown eyes.

I know you guys can't answer for me if she's mixed or not, but any ideas why she has blue eyes?

I do not understand why scientist continue to stretch the idea that human beings evolved from apes. If that is the case...why haven't I heard of a case where human beings are still being evolved from the apes.

I think I've figured out the answer. If you have any faith in genetic evolution, surley whatever laid the egg must have been 99.9999% chiken, but not genetically a chiken. Due to a mutation in the growing chick, it became what we now know as a chicken what do you think? (Interested in hearing the creationist's view on this one).
