I'm an agnostics, whom believes generally in evolution, but I find the common explanation a bit far-fetched or rather I just can't picture it.

The earth is 4.57 billion years old, and us humans have been here roughly 2.2 million years ie the first 'homo'. Now personally, I'm sure we're not as complicated as what I thinks most likely is out in space, but I find it hard to reason how we developed from a single cell life form. Anyone have a chart of life's path from that to us...which would make some sense out of this?

I'm not saying there is or isnt' a god or that someone planted us here, but the conventional explanation of evolution is just not clear in my head. Could someone demonstrate a timeline that makes sense of earth's inhabitance from it's creation?

How come we have 2 (possibley 3: mouth, nose and ears(thanx to the eustachian tube) openings for breathing? Shouldn't the nose already suck in an efficient amout of air for the human body? Or is the mouth just back up?

I heard different theories. One stated that spiders thousands of years ago were large and dangerous enough to kill people, and so those who feared and avoided them survived and this gene was passed on.
Another theory says that the sneeky stalking movement of spiders is similar to saber-toothed tigers, lions, and other large predators that hunted humans. Therefore, we are genetically programmed to fear all creatures (big or small) that move in such a manner.

Ok. So everyone says that God created Adam and Eve and all these animals. But then we have 100's of fossils and bones that dinosaurs. Also we have fossils of apes from different Era's. Did God creation Dinosaurs then, did he create pre-mature apes. Then wouldn't that whole Adam and Eve Story be false because I really don't think cavemen can talk to eachother. Sincerely,
Confused Christian

I am a soon to be HS Senior who is sifting through different colleges and career options. I am unsure of what profession I would like to work in in the future. I love working in the lab, and am a 4.0/4.0 GPA student with a 28 composite ACT(I will be retaking as I couldn't finish due to an emergency). I have recently taken an interest in Biotechnology, and will be taking a class in it this coming year. The ASVAB test suggested that I work in a medical, scientific engineering, or other related fields. I agree, but I am still so confused! I am looking for a career where I cannot get bored.
Do have any suggestions of colleges, possible professions, or places I could take a career placement exam? Any help is greatly appreciated!

If a landbound dinosaur were to lay down, would the weight of his own body crush his internal organs like what happens to whales when they get beached?? Would this be a danger even for standing dinos? If so, how did they get around this problem? How did they sleep and give birth to their eggs/young? Standing or squatting? What would have happened to a dinosaur that was forced to lay down due to injury/illness (that is, if nothing came along and killed him for lunch)? Were their organs made of basically the same sorts of tissues as ours, or did their organs evolve to be tougher and more robust than anything around today?

if there are 7 exclusions in a dna test that means there are 9 inclusions. Would that explain similarities between people? What is the margin of difference before declaring an exclusion?
