Well, consider this: a man loses a third of his RDA of zinc with every ejaculation. Zinc deficiency can lead to lowered testosterone and irritability. Also, on a psychological level, too much masturbation can isolate you socially, both because you spend too much time alone and because you can become known as that guy who jerks off all the time.

At the same time, masturbation makes you less likely to get prostate cancer and allows you to be more comfortable with your sexuality and body in general. Just keep it to a reasonable level and you'll be fine.

actually it doesn't have any serious defect. To some people that do not want to have any thing much to day with most especially women like some priest etc, some not all do survive through this act since they are human. But when it is turned into habit, there might be some defects such as;

1 the person being unable to mate with an opposite sex

2. even when the person mate, there will be quick release of sperm

3. forming it a habit is an abuse and u find out that when the person is through with the act he or she will be angry with himself .

4. it is often seen that such people are easilly stimulated, i.e there body readilly got ready for sex but they do not last at all.

Primarily psychological effects. As with satisfying any bodily desire (not need, as for food or drink), the possibility exists that the person may become addicted to it.

Rats which were given control over electrodes inserted into the pleasure center of their brains starved rather than stop pushing the button, to get food which was just a few inches away.

How close are we to that with the Internet...? I don't know. How close is any one individual to that, with the limitless resources of their fantasizing imagination...? Once more, that is a question for the individual to answer.

To cover the question with blanket statements like "It's perfectly natural and nothing to be ashamed of!" is only evading the issue.

How well can you resist it...?

How many people have had marital difficulties because they stopped relying on their spouse as their primary source of sexual stimulation and satisfaction...?

So the defects may not be to the body (except in the extreme case, of neglecting food, drink, bathing, etc.) but to the mind, and eventually, inevitably, to the interpersonal relationships-- degrading them or possibly not being able to form them in the first place.

Nope, mastrubation is completely healthy. Though, if your a girl and using a toy, even if it's new you should always put a condom on it; just to protect yourself from any germs or what not that might be on it. <3

When you're with a bunch of guys mention that it grows hair on your palms. Then watch and see how many look at their hands.

If it did, a LOT of people would be in bad health right now. Unless you're using sharp objects to do it...
