I haven't gone that far into biology but I do know that A and B are not possible. Something must happen, my first thought was that white blood cells would eventually destroy the cell and make room for cells to divide and only your reprodctive agents undergo meiosis such as your sperm or egg cells. So you're left with C and D and I'm leaning towards D but I'm not 100% sure.

C is the only answer that could be deemed correct out of four.
However, if the question is what happens to the skin (epidermal) cells when they die, then the answer is that they get charatinized and get sloughed off gradually when we take bath or when the cloth that we wear comes in contact with them.

C. It's just replaced by a new cell. Any more would lead to a tumor which is probably cancer(cells out of control). Does that help?
