On the Religion and Spirituality section, we are constantly getting spammed by creationists with their nonsensical objections to evolutionary theory. We usually tell them to ask their questions in the Biology section and leave us alone. Biology regulars: do they ever show up?

yes, but not to the same degree as you do in R+S.

I doubt that when you say 'go ask in biology' they actually come here.

Question for you: Does anyone over there answer the creationist questions?

Yes, they do.

In zoology, too. Probably more there, in fact. It's a scary sight. Ask a question in zoology about evolution and prepare to be afraid - very afraid.

In fact, people with no understanding of science beyond what they've picked up in bible school (which is zilch) frequently infest just about all the rooms of the science section.

There's way too many dumb questions and answers to list. You ask a question about evolution in the science rooms and half the people will say god did it or something equally stupid. Answers to why the sky is blue in the science rooms is often 'because god made it that way' and even questions on astrophysics are often attempted by theists who usually have nothing to offer besides a glib 'that's just how god made the universe'

Yes, they regularly pop up. Thankfully about half ask smart questions, and a good chunk of the other half get reported.

I've seen stupid answers to legitimate questions too.

All the time. I've gotten tired of answering these sorts of questions, for the most part.

Yes. For that matter, I have seen evolutionists ask some pretty stupid questions, too. There are stupid people in all the sections. Biology is no exception.

Yes, they do. It's a shame that they get an indoctrination at an earlier age than they get an education.

Yes, they do and please do not send any more of these nut cases to biology. I have had to start going to R and S to fight them there for this very same reason.
