What if aliens are acually human time travelers from the future, but are slightly deformed and obviously majorly advanced. They of course are not alowed to mess with the past in other words "give out classified information" because that would then totaly screw up the future.

it takesthe earth1.0years to travel around the sun. it takes venus0.615 years to orbit the sun. if the planets are in a straight line with the sun now,how long will it be before this is the case again? your answer must be accuracte to the nearest hundredth of a year ( assume that the orbital planes of all planets are the same)

This new planet:-
http://www.channel4.com/news/articles/science_technology/new+planet+may+support+life/466372

what's it called Gliese 581 C - what's the bloody C stand for?
Shouldn't it be P for planet - and why can't these damn astronomer scientist have a bit more imagination anyway - why couldn't they have called it Gliese Junior or something? That would seem to make a lot more sense to me since it's orbiting the red dwarf star Gliese 581 - see even that's got a bloody number! I think these damn astronomers have been watching too much 'Trek' don't you and are obsessed with Borg Designations - geeks, nurds, anoraks whatever you want to call that they are?

Seriously though, 20.5 lightyears or 120 trillion miles in English - now just how near are we to travelling that distance?

Now even I know that when you're doing those kind of distances you're not talking about speed but time and Einstein said time travel was possible didn't he?

I'm not 100% sure of being an astrophysicist, I might be a astrobiologist, astrochemist or just an astronomer. What do you study in University to become one of these? Are there any good Universities for Astronomy? In Canada? What degrees do you need? How many years of will it take? Where does an astrophysicist work? How much do they get paid? Do they get paid even if they suck at being an astrophysicist? These may be stupid questions, but I'm just trying to figure out how to make a living out of my hobby/obsession. Thank you for your time, nice people.

Wien's Law is a relation between the TEMPERATURE of an object and the PEAK EMISSION WAVELENGHT of the Continuous Spectrum emitted by the object.
Where the value of the constant depends on the units used for the wavelenght. If the unit used is Angstroms for the wavelenght, Wien's law is given by [lamboa]peak * T = 30,000,000 A more precise value would be 29, 000, 000 but the value has been rounded for simplicity. The temperature is given in Kelvin. Given this form of Wien's Law, complete table 1.

Table 1 Looks like this (Please help me to answer it)

Wavelenght (Angstroms) Temperature (K)
___________________ 1,500
____________________ 7,500
____________________ 20,000
____________________ 60,000
15,000 ________________
5,000 ________________
4,000
30,000
Please explain me this problem
