The theory that the earth is hollow and there is another whole society of people who live there, fascinates me. Some people believe this. Why haven't they been able to prove or disapprove this theory? They believe that the opening is at the North Pole and they travel in and out in flying saucers. Also, that the northern lights (aurora borealis) is caused from the lights coming from inside the hollow earth. I'm not saying that I believe any of this. I'm just curious what others think of the theory.

Assume you have two masses of equal value (some M) that are 1 meter apart. The second mass is then moved to within 0.5 meters of the first mass. Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation states that the new gravitational force will be:

(1)Two times larger than when the masses were 1 meter apart.

(2)Four times larger than when the masses were 1 meter apart.

(3)Sixteen times larger than when the masses were 1 meter apart.

(4)Sixteen times smaller than when the masses were 1 meter apart.

(5)Four times smaller than when the masses were 1 meter apart.

Does'nt time tick away at the same pace throughout the universe. If i went faster then the speed of light to another star, turned around and came back, and it took me ten seconds, why wouldn't ten seconds simply have elapsed?
