Some of the answers you get are from people a little tired of seeing this question again and again. But I assume you are actually wondering about this because you heard somebody say the landing was faked.

Well, it wasn't; it really happened. Consider these points:

-The radio telescopes around the world tracked the Apollo spacecraft. They had to turn and aim the dishes at the spacecraft all the way.
-The TV and movies that came back showing behaviour of dirt in low-gravity are very "accurate". It floated up and drifted slowly to the ground. (Sure, we can fake it now, but not as easily in 1969: look at the original Star Trek episodes! They're pretty crude. Even "2001", the best, most accurate sci-fi depiction of spaceflight up to the time, isn't very good showing the walking on the moon. And it was produced the same time as the first moon landings.)
-Also, three mirrors were left on the moon so that we can shoot lasers at them, see the returning light pulse, and compute the exact distance to the moon (which is changing.) If we never went to the moon, who left the mirrors?

I think Louie Armstrong was the first man on the moon followed by his good friend Alex Jones, while Micheal Moore whistled Dixie in the command module orbiting above!

Actually there was a news black out that day and they had to land on the dark side of the moon. They were having trouble with their Jefferson Star ship.

I am almost positive about these things. It was along time ago July 19 and 69 I believe. My older brother and I was watching it on TV, but we had a black and white with terrible reception. We were both half cut and he kept flicking threw the channels, but I am almost curtain that it was the Jefferson Star ship.

If he didn't, there would be books galore written by retired NASA employees cashing in on how they conspired to fake it.

By the way, I watched it live when it happened, and the waving flag was explained ON CAMERA, the flag actually was hung from a thin rod or piece of piano wire that stuck out vertically from the flag pole, and the flag hung from it, exactly like window drapes do. Watch the the footage of the moon walks and the flag deploying one more time and you'll note that once the flag is unfurled again it never moved. Because there was no wind.

Yes, the source is nothing but the News and the pictures we have seen. You have to believe. Really only Neil Armstrong can tell you because he has experienced it.

Hmmm....this is some question - after more than 30 years, suspecting whether he landed at all is a bit far fetched. Maybe the claim that he landed first is open to challenge but not the fact that he landed :-) If not, dear Russians would have blown the lid over such a fraud.

Niel Armstrong did land on the moon and that trip really did happen.

Of course. Didn't you get the memo in the 60s? This isn't a conspiracy. We have actually traveled to outer space and landed on the moon. Oh, and a rover landed on Mars too.

No. And I still have the moon sets in my back bedroom. We used clay models and shot the whole thing on a sheet of plywood.

OF COURSE THE MAN LANDED ON THE MOON, and so did others.

It was cheaper to actually do it than to fake it...At least that was what a Hollywood special effects guy once said.
