Of course they have an electric charge. Do you think that the Earth would have lightning or you would get shocked without an electric charge? If we didn't have an electric charge, we wouldn't be able to collect electricity. Also, the sun has electric storms every year.

The magnetosphere is charged, the space shuttle dragged a long wire through it to generate electricity.

The Sun has one too.
