if nebulae and black holes and other mysteries in space are just a combo of gases and the like, why cant scientists create them in a contained environment and then study the creation, using the same gases and elements?

I don't know if the info I read is absolutely correct but it was about the suns core and it said " fusion takes place here for main sequence stars such as our sun "

My questions are :

1.. does that mean fusion doesn't take place in other stars ?

2.. If the other stars have no fuson action going on in the core what produces the energy it holds ?

I've heard that light is energy, but it moves through vacuums and is affected by gravity. All the other forms of energy (i.e. electrical, thermal) seem to based in matter, but light seems completely independent from it. What is light?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but if there is that much matter balled up in one spot, shouldn't its own gravity hold it together? What could cause such a massive explosion?

Here it goes:The speed of light is 187,000 per second. It can travel around the Earth 7 times in 1 second...So heres the best part...The closest star is 4.4 light years away.So to get there we would have to travel at 187,000 miles per second for 4.4 years to finally arrive at the nearest star...Now that my friends is pretty far.....Tom Science 4....It makes me wonder why we don't concentrate more on the problems of the people and it's medium....Good night to all

You build and launch a rocket. You measure the highest altitude of your rocket as 300 ft. Using a stopwatch, you find that the rocket was in the air for 15 seconds. What was the average speed of the rocket, and how did you come up with the answer?
Thanks!

i resently came across a video on the internet (thanks to a guy who answered another one of my question), the way i understood it was that the sun and every single other object in the universe is reliant on a force which i am assuming is plasma, and that the sun is not a generator of energy but a conductor of electricity and that is where its energy comes from. am i missing something or missunderstood something? if this theory is true then we have an electrical sun rather than an atomic or hydrogen powered one. if this is so, then i guess there is a good chance that god can exist too. please explane this to me.
