Well yes haven't you seen the TV series called Life On Mars maybe there are on Mars and haven't just travelled back in time.

All this is what I remember from my science lessons (we did this at the start of 2007)

Bacterium have been found in rocks so this suggests that there is life on Mars.
Every planet has an atmosphere but only the Earth's atmosphere has each element in the right proportion. However Earth's atmosphere used to be totally different. It used to have enormous amount of Carbon Dioxide and very little Oxygen. Over time thanks to our friend the plant the atmosphere change into what it is today. The current Mars atmosphere is like the old Earth atmosphere so it could be possible to terraform (change the atmosphere on purpose) it.

Also as someone has said before there is evidence thta there may once have been running water which suggests there was once a lot more oxygen (water is H2O) so it could have had life.

Well, there's a very thin atmosphere, but it's not breathable. Some studies have revealed that that may have ONCE been life on Mars, but isn't there now. So it'd be pretty lonely out there. On the plus side, the view of the stars would be fantastic because of the lack of atmosphere.

No life so far and no atmosphere that you can breathe, but lots of wide open spaces and no litter.

Not too long ago our orbiting spacecraft took photos of an ice trail which may have briefly been running water. Not much there and I checked for you, Dominos Pizza does NOT deliver to Mars. You might want to keep this in mind when planning your big move.

Hehe... life on Mars isn't yet proven but scientist do think that some small organisms like bacteria and viruses might live in the rocks or even in the frozen water. Surely, life on Mars existed millions of years ago.

Good Luck with your villa!

I believe that there is intelligent life on Mars. I suppose each one needs to have his or her own : Close encounter of the third kind to find this out. The evidence of this intelligent life, may not be very far away, but right before our eyes , starring us in the face. There is evidence that there is water, one of the basics to sustain life, on Planet Mars.

Not funny. There has never been, not now, and never will be life on Mars. The only conclusive evidence we have about life in our universe comes from planet Earth.

No, but it's possible that at some point Mars had very basic life.
