There are several instances of time being so different than we experience in our normal life that time might be described as having crashed.
For items crossing the event horizon of a black hole time seems to stop.
At the instant of the Big Bang time started and did not exist before that.
At the instant of the Big Crunch (should it ever happen) time will end.
