I have read some on asteroid composition, and there seems to be a lot we DON'T know. I do know that there are a lot of different types of near earth objects and different components of our asteroid belt.
From what I have been given to understand, metals like platinum and iridium have a lot of industrial uses, but what other metals could be found up there that are relatively rare on our planet?

Can it be defined? Does it only go foward...or is this only our perception and understanding of "time"? Surely, we know the Earth's orbit about the sun comprises our 24 day, seasons, and such. But, what is time itself? What was it before we could track it, to the best of our finite abilities? Was it anything? Or is time just a concept we have created as humans to make us feel more in control of the sphere we occupy in physical form?

1) The spectrum of a certain star is measured. An absorption line is noted at 655nm in the spectrum of the star. The same absorption line is found at 642nm in a spectrum measured in a laboratory. Is the star moving towards or away from the Earth? What is the velocity of the stars motion towards or away from the Earth?

So, if the numbers grow does it mean that it is moving away from the Earth? Also, is there a good formula to figure these kind of questions out? Thank you for your help!!!

As we all know that earth revolves around sun and so as all other planets. But what happens if jupitar's gravity diverts earth's path and forces earth to revolve around itself (Jupitar). Because if i am not wrong then Jupitar has got planets almost similar to size of earth.

If black holes exist, and they suck up everything around them, they would soon suck in evething in the cosmos, and there would be nothing left, including the black hole it's self!!! And another thing, the warping of space can not be. Put four dots on a pice of paper, then fold it so the two furthest dots touch, everything in between them would collide!! Bye bye world.
