That is we reach Sunday November 4th at 1:00am. The time until 1:59:59am will be in DST. Then the clock will roll back to 1:00am. The time until 1:59:59am is in standard time or DST?

In the fall, we fall back. So as it was 1:59:59 in DST and the new time will be 2:00 in DST but because of the change it is 1:00 std. and then an hour later will be 2:00 Standard time.

Science teacher is correct.

So ... for times between 1:00 am and 2:00 am, it is very important to say whether it is ST or DST.

12:00 DST --> 1:00 DST --> 2:00 DST = 1:00 ST --> 2:00 ST ...
