The theory that the earth is hollow and there is another whole society of people who live there, fascinates me. Some people believe this. Why haven't they been able to prove or disapprove this theory? They believe that the opening is at the North Pole and they travel in and out in flying saucers. Also, that the northern lights (aurora borealis) is caused from the lights coming from inside the hollow earth. I'm not saying that I believe any of this. I'm just curious what others think of the theory.

Go into Search and type in: The Hollow Earth. There are some very interesting sights that talk about the hollow earth. It is claimed that Admiral Byrd wrote about it in his journals. I find it hard to believe myself, but it's interesting reading.

Noddarc, that was a very interesting answer, even though I didn't quite understand it completely. You sound like a scientist! ;-)

I agree with all of you that it is a stupid theory. I never said I believed it. I was just curious as to what other opinions were out there. Just thought it would make for some interesting conversation.

Well Paul, not that it matters, but I don't take any kind of meds whatsoever. Tell me, what is wrong with having a little fun talking about theories? If you read all that I wrote, you would see that this theory is NOT my beliefs, it was just something fun to talk about. I was wondering who believed and who didn't. Who knows? Remember, it was once thought that the earth was flat. It was only a theory by a few that it was round. How stupid was that?? LOL Just because I want to discuss a subject, does not mean that I believe it. Have a good day. Take 2 aspirin and call me tomorrow.

Were you to determine mass acceleration between the distances of 0.717 miles from the center of our planet and the 0.716 mile location, you would find that in this location mass begins to atomically exceed the speed of light. Were a person able to release a mass in this location, and were it free to fall, it would exceed the speed of light in one second. This means there is either a "black hole" in the middle of our planet that the mass is being converted into, or there is actually a hollow in the very center of our planet that is about one and one-half miles across. (In our sun the distance for this same condition is 800 miles across). Don't expect to find any form of life there that you would recognize. There is a focal point in the very center of our planet where an average of 0.00444 kg./sec of energy passes through continuously; this energy comes from all directions about that point, making it very inhospitable.

It's a very stupid theory that only a Nazi would love, and of course it's been disproved. Are you not aware that tons of people have been traveling to the North Pole for a century?

Airlines fly over the North Pole every day. US Navy submarines travel there constantly. Adventurers and scientists trek there. It is abundantly well known and proved that there is nothing at the North Pole except the arctic ocean and a skin of ice.

Also, you can read Richard Byrd's journals for yourself and you'll see he does not write anything supporting this nonsense.

Why might we prepare scholars incorrect suggestions? there is not any threat the earth is flat the earth is almost actual not hollow simply by fact they sent waves interior the path of the earth and that they reacted in specific techniques telling them the earth maximum in all probability has a molten middle. we could desire to tell little ones terrific suited, smart suggestions as a substitute of purely complicated them

the earth is not hollow. the presence of the earths magnetic field is due to having a solid core with a liquid outter shell. this same concept is what allows us to make electric motors today. the araura are caused by pecies of the sun traveling along the earths magnetic field lines and striking the atmosphere. kinda like when you see a meteor strike the atmosphere..it makes a pretty streak through the sky (shooting star).

They HAVE disproved this theory. The patterns of earthquakes and their detection has shown scientists what's inside the earth, and it is not hollow.

well, I think it is about time that you go on a trip to the north pole and find out for yourself. and don't forget to take your medication with you. I would hate to think of what you might do if you didn't take your med's. and don't forget to write.
