I would describe "an ordinary person" as one who uses anothers vehicle to go into space and who expects to be safe from the harsh environs of space for a sustainable length of time.
With regards to living there; probably not in the foreseeable future. There is a lot of harmful radiation out there. If you were to "live" on Mars for example, we would need about 100 feet of soil above us to shield us from it.
With regards to travelling any great distance through space; probably not in the foreseeable future not only because of inadequate shielding from the Suns radiation but because it is not reasonable to expect to be able to escape the gravity well of the Sun.

YES...virgin galactic already has to space planes that will be taking people into space in the next two years. but a ticket for this ride costs $200,000. in the future when more companies start making their own space vehicles im sure the cost will come down allowing ordinary people a chance to fly into space. Also there are people living in space right now on the international space station. people dont last long in space though, maybe a couple of years at most because their muscles waste away in zero gravity. but who knows, one day someone might figure out a way to get around this and other obsticles!!!!!

Sure, they do now --- astronauts, cosmonauts, nauts of other
nations, really they're just ordinary people. Of course in the
future, it'll probably be a more convenient and livable trip.

Not if you define having traveled in space as extraordinary.

I'm sure it will. There was a time when only pilots and experimenters flew in planes.
