Example: The big bang theory (from my understanding of it) says all the matter in the universe was somehow packed into a dot the size of a period. Then it rotated faster and faster (by some unknown energy) until it finally exploded BOOM! sending out debris and matter all directions and ended with the universe as we know it. By scientific law, if an object is spinning one way and releases an object away from it, that object will keep spinning (with no resistance because there is no matter to form friction against said object) the same way.
Why then are some planets and moons spinning opposite ways?

So today I received a phone call phone a number that came up unknown. There was no one there, but when I looked at the date my phone listed it as 10/13/36, which is impossible because...well it's impossible to receive a phone call of the year 2036. Or is it? So any ideas on the date and the year and so on..maybe someone else received a phonecall as well and it's just a virus that is put through the phone system?
Thanks very much for your help :)

Depending on where your country is (north or south of the equator), does the water in a bath tub turn a different way when it goes down a plug hole. Why does this happen?

Is the universe like a piece of paper; with edges, a start and an end. Or is it ongoing? Now, we are in the universe, so what is the universe in? Believe it or not, this is a question I had asked my mom at the age of 6.

if something were to figuratively compress itself into the smallest posible object, meaning there is no space between particles. then the object would have infinite mass and infinite density, so would this create a black hole?

Did our great Amstrong REALLY landed on the Moon. An answer with a little bit of reasons to believe would be fine.

With out gravity we would fly apart. Gravity is the force that keeps everything together in the universe. There is no such thing as zero gravity in our universe because even a atom produces enough gravity to keep it from splitting.

At the start of the universe there was the singularity. Because it was a singularity everything was uniform so there was zero gravity. It was this zero gravity that caused the big bang as all the energy that was held together with gravity is now unleshed.

There is no doubt in my mind whats so ever that a universe is created by blackholes seperating another universe. At the instant of seperation a big bang occurs as a zero G enviroment can't contain the energy.

I think the latter.

If I am correct (about in what direction the earth revolves on its axis) then would I be correct in saying that as I fly west, and earth is revolving in the opposite direction, that I will pass thru time zones VERY quickly.

Anyone in the science field out there who can help me with this?

Thank you!

1900s saw world war 1 with primitive weapons world war two with atom bombs and 1969 with a manned spacecraft landing on the moon!! What was man doing before that on earth for 10 million years? Discovery Channel says that MJ2 crash a closely guarded secret at the Pentagon gave knowledge to the Americans and they capitalise on it and sell obselete technology to the world which suits them and constantly remains ahead of the rest of the world!! Could this be true that the space crafts actually crashed and this actually happened?
Why don't space crafts crash in other countries though I have personally seen (along with a whole village population and my family with one person from the army, one a scientist from 3M USA and an Economist from Oregon University and me from London University- in short -normal people!!) something from a distance in 1972 which could be termed as UFO and the next days national papers had them on the head lines with photographs of capsized cars & scooters on trees!!

He wants to go into space! I myself am just a little worried that Prof. Hawking wants to do this, considering the damages that spaceflight could have on his delicate body. Even so, I'd guess someone who's survived 44 years with MND can do anything!
