If you're looking at the earth from outerspace, does it rotate clockwise or counterclockwise? (not around the sun - but just around.) I've tried doing the research, and haven't gotten anywhere. So please let me know where you found your info, if you can. Thanks.

Do you think that there is something beyond outer space? How can something just go on forever and ever?

I have a window in my roof, and I was laying in bed and I saw what appeared to be 3 flashes simultaneously moving across the sky.

It was one flash followed by another brighter one underneath it, and then another one slightly dimmer after that (they was all white light, no other colours)

That sequence happened about 3 times in a row giong from right to left across my window and then ended in a large flash.

Whatever it was, it seemed to be a bit lower in the sky as what an Airplane would have been at. And it almost looked like 3 camera flashes going off at once.

Does anyone know what the hell it was?

I was told by my instructor at PLDC (SGT school) that a meteror hit the Earth and fell into one of the great Lakes, because of that and the mineral properties of the meterorite, azimith are gratly effected by this meteror, when I told someone else, they thought the instructor was pulling my leg, so was he oulling my leg??? Anyone else ever hear about this???

If a mighty astroid can potentially shift the earth into an ice-age...could we somehow move the earth into a slightly more distant (from the sun) orbit to counter global warming?

Ok, so we have gone to the moon. Do you beleive that we will have success in colonizing the moon or mars?
Its a task that you have to think not only travelling but what about building? We are not going just down the road!
At the moment its out of reach i beleive, but if we do succeed when do you think this would happen?
