Or is there just some scandalous company that collects the money and lets the name sit there?

Like let's say that life was discovered on another planet.... would the scientists say "Why yes, we HAVE found Alien life forms on Bertha C. Ledbetter..."?

While it is true that a larger apeture helps in collecting more light on a reflector to be able to see more of a planety or deep sky stuff.

However dosen't magnification help in dealienating the surface or other things on a planetry surface as opposed to apeture. So say if I wanted to see more details on saturn through my P130mm 650 focal would it make sense that things would be more detailed with higher mags as opposed to simply increasing the apeture. Atleast going by the rule of 50X per inch of apeture.

Are there any other ways besides barlows to see more planetry surface details by keeping the same apeture.

Thanks

P.S I am not overly concerend with the field of view which ofcourse relates inversely to mag what I seek is an ability to see details to the best to p130mm 650's ablities.

in any way is it possible?
ok if you mark a piece of paper with a maker....the paper is absorbing theparticles of the marker......when you put the marker in water..the water is obsorbing the marker particles like the solid(paper.....when you leave a marker without a top...the air absorbs the marker particle (causing it to dry out)....so does that mean you have accomplished writing on air, solid, and liquid

Why do scientists say that the universe is expanding? How can it be expanding? Just think of it... if the universe is expanding, that implies that it is in something? And if so, what is outside our Universe?

Therefore, why cant it be possible that the universe is infinite not moving but that the substance inside the universe is moving (Galaxies, stars etc in motion) ???

I know that many science fiction shows may call them Luna and Sol but these are not official names like moons of other planets and suns in other solar systems.

I decided to tell him the truth by saying that nobody has ever landed on the moon - especially Americans! Have I done the right thing? Or should I keep letting him believe in these things including the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus?

I just want to do my best for him.

If you have, what's it like? And also, has anyone ever met an American with common sense? If so, what was it like?

I'll probably get thumbs down as you won't find either on Yahoo Answers.

Imagine that you are in a spacecraft on a mission to Mars that will take several years. Write an e-mail letter to a friend describing the first two weeks of the year-long journey to Earth.
Include some scientific basis.

When they rotate,it causes seasons by being farther from the sun, which makes it winter or just colder. If it is closer it is summer or just hotter. Being farther also helps it become spring and fall.It becomes night time because when the planets are rotating, they go to the moon and when they move away, they go to the sun and make it day time and that is why here is 24 hours in a day because it takes 24 hours to get back to the moon. You can't feel the earth moving.
