some times the sun is not that bright and the moon will be out all day. im not in ireland but in usa wich is were i am i can see the moon 24?7 sometimes.

It's approaching full, which means it rises a bit before sunset. Also, the full moon this time of year approximates the path of the midsummer sun, which is to say it's up for a long time. Today's moon rose about 2:00 pm and will be up all night; the full moon on the 3rd will rise around 4:00 pm.
