Out 3 dimensions are represented by length, width, and height. The 4th dimension is refered to as time, while everything in the first 3 dimensions exist.

Okay this is a tricky question, I'll try to explain why.

First of all, some people said the 4th dimension is time. That isn't entirely correct. Einstein said there is a dimension of time, but that has nothing to do with the 4th dimension. He said "there exists three dimensions of space, and a dimension of time."

See what you're referring here, is that 4th dimension is another dimension of space. This is easily summarized in mathematics, in multivariable calculus: the quadruple integral of a constant, and you get what is called a hyper volume. For example in three dimensions you there exists a cube. But in the fourth dimension, there exists what is called a hypercube. Cool huh? But this is purely theoretical.

In the current known universe, one cannot observe the 4th dimension even if there is one. Many theories have come to support multidimensional systems including what is called the string theory. In theoretical physics, string theory allows 11 dimensions of space!!! Crazy huh?

Now to answer your question of where exactly (that is if there really exists one), it would be all around us! It would be everywhere! We just wouldn't be able to sense or even imagine it.

Time is the 4th dimension. We move through time but cannot control it like we can the other 3 dimensions.

Think of someone beside you getting smaller and smaller as if they are shrinking but they are not shrinking but rather moving away from you by going into the 4th dimension.

The forth dimension could be considered in and out.

The concept of a fourth dimension is one that is often described in considering its physical implications; that is, it is known that there are three dimensions: length (or depth), width, and height. The fourth dimension is orthogonal to the other three spatial dimensions. The cardinal directions in the three known dimensions are called up/down (altitude), north/south (latitude), and east/west (longitude). When speaking of the fourth dimension, an additional pair of terms is needed. Attested terms include ana/kata (sometimes called spissitude or spassitude), vinn/vout (used by Rudy Rucker), and upsilon/delta. The fourth dimension is often identified with time, and as such is used to explain space-time in Einstein's theories of special relativity and general relativity. In this case, the concept of an additional spatial dimension would be referred to as the fifth dimension.

Did you mean the 5th Dimension? Age of Aquarius is one of my favorite Motown hits.
