North, East, and Up are each pointed 90 degrees away from the other two. The direction to the parallel world is the fourth direction pointed 90 degrees away from the other three.

The parallel universe theory states that there are an infinite number of universes co-habiting the same space as we are. Due to the fact that there are an infinite number of them , there will be another you and another me doing exactly the same things as we are now. However, there will be an infinte number of you and me that are doing an infinite number of different things as well.
