At the moment, we can't touch the sun (we would die even befor getting half way there.) but i sure one day man will invent something that will allow him to touch the sun. In the mean time, just go outside and feel the sun rays.

Its really interesting and important question. I consider it a real special question but i am little bit sad that my answer is not the answer you may be want.
The power of the sun is inside the everyone like you and me also as long as we are alive. If you notice the dead body you will see it turns black and black and goes on.
Anyway: You can actually touch the sun dear and its not joke, now the question is how.
Ancient history says: and according to my own experience you can do almost anything that you desire for and on this earth only a human kind is blissful for this opportunity.
Meditation is the first step: it turns you inward to reach the things which are far beyond our imagination and whynot cause we can go on imagining that how far the sun is but we will never be able to get the right answer until we are there.
In the soul of human, there is a different world, the world of my story and the world of dreams.
Mediation open the doors of all the mysteries and other world. where you will also be able to get lots of uni ques powers and the funny thing that you will find out that the sun actually won't burn you once you get close to it and still practically you will be on earth.
It is serious practice and you need lots of experience for this and AF-course you will need some real professional person to go on meditation with you who can watch you.

Sun is glowing sphere of gas which is mostly hydrogen (70%) and helium (28%). So, Sun is not like Earth or Moon which has solid land. So, how can you touch hot gas? We all will be melted first before we can go closer to Sun.
No Object can go to Sun but we can receive sunlight from SUN!!!

The Sun is the most powerful thing in the universe. Nothing will ever be able to even come NEAR the sun and still be living.

Of course we can't touch the sun..Even the surface heat can burn our body..if we try to touch the sun,I'm really sure that we will be melt..as a melting chocolate..

hehehe.... i actually learned something interesting about the sun the other day.
the sun is several million degrees kelvin in temperature. that means somewhere in the 1,000,000's of degrees.
the earth is anywhere from 150 to 400 degrees kelvin. it's very rare that anything on earth will heat up past 400 kelvin.... a mere 400 degrees above absolute zero, while the sun is a good few million above absolute zero. that is REALLY hot!
